well i certainly wouldn't want to be stuck somewhere in the open with a zombie horde, but i wouldn't mind a nice stuck in a mall situation or something where i'd be safe, and have plenty of food/entertainment and the like

well i thought it was supposed to be a comedy set around a serious zombie movie, and Daj they didn't really explain why they were coming to the mall, they just said maybe it's their memory, but they also said "maybe it's us" and simply by the fact that the living attract the dead says to me they can clearly sense the difference between the 2 on a more animal level then just what they look and sound like

Lest ye forget the Sheriff interviewed by "Chilly" Bill Cardile in Night. The Sheriff states they found a few trying to break into a shed, they dispatched them but found nothing in the shed no one living or dead...That doesn't indicate to me an inate sense of the living...Memory on the other hand seems more likely.Quote:

In case anyone forgot to notice, it is a comedy, not a serious zombie film.

And let's also not forget that nearly the first thing Stephen did after being zombified in the original Dawn was tearing down the wall hiding the staircase leading to Peter and Fran.
well i'm not arguing that they clearly keep some of their humanity when they change, but i think it's crazy to think they aren't "drawn" to the living by more then just site and sound, the sheer number that get drawn to the living points to that. if it was just a handful here and there then sure, the "they heard the humans" argument could make sense, but for hundreds or thousands to be attracted to an area that has living says to me that they can tell where the live flesh is
That is specious considering they show hundreds of Zombies in FOrt Myers in the beginning of Day and no one was alive there..
That doesn't count. Florida is ALWAYS full of living dead people... Quote:
